This is a unique opportunity to work across two different marketing functions during your year out: 

Strategic Projects - focuses on change programs that impact the whole of the EMEA Marketing organisation. The function drives a selection of skills and organisational development projects, ranging from formal training through to longer term specific change management programs such as our move to an Integrated Marketing Model.   Reference Marketing – this team are at the heart of capturing customer stories from across Europe that reflect how and where our technology is being used. 

During your time as an intern, you will work on some exciting pan-European projects across these two functions (typically a 80:20 split in favour of strategic projects). You will work closely with the leaders of these functions. 

Specific responsibilities will include:

Strategic Projects:

  • Develop ongoing education and internal communication programs to ensure there is a good understanding of existing development programs available to the team (including internal training, professional memberships, Take 1, 2 and 3 programs etc.)
  • Day to day monitoring, management and reporting of Digital Marketing Certification program (from SimpliLearn) for new starters into the team
  • Manage the European ‘Walk in my Shoes’ employee shadowing Program, looking at opportunities for developing the program further, and driving internal PR on the program.
  • Project manage the regular ‘Outside-In’ program: an internal webinar series where external speakers are brought in for a one hour session with all of EMEA Marketing: a mixture of business, marketing and life skills topics.
  • Provide crucial support (and manage elements) of the EMEA Marketing & Solutions Marketing Internal Newsletters (on a 6 weekly publishing cycle), as part of our journey of ‘Integrated Marketing’
  • Support the annual 3 day EMEA Marketing Off-Site event for all EMEA Marketing employees, from iniial event planning, through to supporting the delivery.
  • Support other organisational development projects as they come up

Customer Marketing:

  • Support the customer references team with keeping customer stories and their associated assets up to date and accessible to the sales teams:
  • Reference View uploads
  • Smart Deck and quote matrix updates

The successful candidate will get exposure to the whole of the European Marketing organisation, as our Strategic Projects and References Marketing programs touch ever member of the team in one shape or form. You will also get experience of working with senior members of the team on a regular basis.

As an intern in EMEA Marketing, you will have the unique opportunity to participate in our Digital Marketing Certification program, giving you the opportunity to achieve x3 Industry recognized advanced certifications with SimpliLearn (social media, content marketing and email marketing)
