Interns are matched with a specific department where they work on advancing critical projects. 

The Intern, Staffing and Learning Management, is a paid Internship where candidates must be enrolled in a degree program at the time of the internship.  The opportunity is based in Fairfield, NJ.

Basic Qualifications: 

Undergraduate Sophomore student and above enrolled in a degree program preferably in Communications, or Human Development.

  • This internship will involve a significant amount of reporting and analysis, so knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a MUST. Familiarity with enterprise-level social media management platforms is also a plus.

Job Description:

The Staffing & Learning Management Intern provides quality administrative support to the Human Assets &  Policy and Administration Management  team.  Assist in the assessment and development of Training Services/HR processes. Conducts research related to the departments on-boarding needs and recommends processes for greater efficiency. The Staffing and Learning Management Intern will directly assist the Business Operations team with a wide range of projects related to HR recruiting, on-boarding/orientation, employee training programs and the creation of the employee career development program . This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. The candidate will have opportunities to collaborate with the Training Services Sales , Service Delivery Management  and leadership teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Supports Human Assets & Policy and Administration Management team with HR related projects.

2.. The Staffing and Learning Management Intern will be responsible for developing a comprehensive and effective employee career development plan that will build our talent pipeline, while providing our organization with a valuable retention strategy. Options available to the employee will include job shadowing, mentoring, major event invitations, interim assignments and executive coaching on particular skills.

3.. The intern will also support all of the daily activities of our team, such as publication of a monthly newsletter and reviewing and updating employee information in the HRIS system. Other duties will include the coordination and communication processes of the Summer Internship program.

4. Researching and collecting information from various departments in effort to revise and update current employee on-boarding processes.

5. Assist with the development of reports and other informational materials presented to management.

Qualifications

Education:  An intern must be enrolled in a degree program at the time of the internship. Junior or Senior preferred. Preferred are of study: Human Resources

Skills: Exceptional written and oral communication skills

Excellent organizational and planning skills

Proficient in Word, Excel & PowerPoint
