The project coordinator is an integral member of the project team responsible for operationalizing back office systems and process for VMware's products. This entails projects of a variety of size and complexity. As an intern, you'll be responsible for organizing, managing, and delivering project activities, schedule, and key deliverable.

Required Skills:

  • Pursuing a BA/BS degree in business, marketing, operations, or related field
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. MS programs.
  • Develop and prep weekly newsletters and communications
  • Run and update internal website, tools, and templates
  • Build standard methodologies playbook for internal partners and Product business unit engagement
  • Chip in to a designated project/initiative by planning, executing, and measuring project
  • Learn new applications needed to complete assignments
  • Job shadowing in other functional areas

Preferred Skills:

  • One Note, SharePoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
  • Multi-tasking and organizational skills while maintaining proven attention to detail while working in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to take direction from management and completed tasks with moderate to little supervision
